Welcome to ChristNation! These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the website https://christnation.org.uk and its associated services, (including mobile, web and desktop applications) (the “Site”) collectively referred to as the “Service,” provided by ChristNation, (a service created by God’s Chamber Global Ministries), its subsidiaries, and affiliates (“ChristNation,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).

 

2. Connecting Christians Across the United Kingdom

 

ChristNation is delighted to offer online services designed for Christians to connect locally.

 

3. Agreement Between You and Us

 

By using our Service, you enter into a legally binding Agreement with us, combining these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

 

4. Agreement Acceptance

 

If you disagree with these Terms, please refrain from providing Personal Information and avoid using our Service.

 

5. Universal Applicability

 

This Agreement, subject to periodic amendments, applies to all users of our Services.

 

6. Member Profiles and Connections

 

Upon becoming a ChristNation Member, you consent to sharing your profile with other users seeking connections.

 

7. Compliance with Laws

 

Users must adhere to all applicable laws, refraining from using our Services for any unlawful or objectionable purposes.

 

8. Termination for Violations

 

8.1. Any breach of these Terms may result in the termination of your Service access.

8.2. We reserve the prerogative to exclude or remove any user from our Services at our sole discretion for any reason, including non-compliance with applicable laws or regulations or violation of these Terms & Conditions. Upon such termination or suspension, users will not be entitled to any refund of unused fees for in-app purchases if any.

 

9. Definitions

 

• “App”: Encompassing mobile, web, and desktop applications.

 

• “Members”: Individuals with accepted Memberships, inclusive of free and paying Members.

 

• “Membership”: Entitlement to Services based on Member status.

 

• “Mobile Apps”: iOS and Android applications provided by ChristNation.

 

• “Organisation”: God’s Chamber Global Ministries

 

• “Services”: All services offered by ChristNation through various platforms.

 

• “Privacy Policy”: The privacy policy in conjunction with these Terms.

 

• “User”: An encompassing term for Members and Visitors.

 

• “Partner”: A collaborating Partner or Organization.

 

• “Visitor”: Individuals exploring our Services.

   

• “Related Parties”: refer to entities and individuals connected with ChristNation, including:

1. ChristNation itself (operated by God’s Chamber Global Ministries).

2. God’s Chamber Global Ministries

3. Salvation and Praise Expression of God’s Chamber Global Ministries

4. Subsidiaries and affiliates of ChristNation and God’s Chamber Global Ministries

5. Users (including Members and Visitors).

6. Partners—collaborating organizations.

7. Other entities such as attorneys and officers, members of staff, administrators and coordinators of ChristNation and entities affected by claims.

 

 

10. Account & Security

1. 10.1. To use our Services, the creation of an account is necessary.

10.2. It is imperative to employ unique login credentials and maintain the confidentiality of your login details, as they fall under your responsibility.

10.3. Verification during sign-up is requested to counteract spam and ensure the security of our Services. While optional, we may, when deemed necessary, request a selfie to confirm your identity.

10.4. The Organisation disclaims liability for actions conducted by any User, whether organized by the Organisation or other individuals utilising the Services.

10.5. Usage of ChristNation services is prohibited if:

 

1. Your account has a history of removal or banning either on our platform or other similar platforms delivering our type of service.

2. You have a prior conviction for a violent or sexually related criminal offense.

 

10.6. ChristNation does not perform criminal background screenings on Users, and personal identification of each User is unattainable. False declarations by a Member are not the Organisation’s liability. However, we will always pass any relevant information in compliance with any legal obligation applicable. It is recommended that Users exercise caution while interacting with other Members.

 

11. Condition of Admission

 

To access our Services, agreement with and adherence to the following Terms & Conditions is mandatory:

 

11.1.Your use of our Services is contingent upon accepting these Terms & Conditions, which regulate and define the parameters of your interaction with our Services.

11.2. Failure to accept the Privacy Policy and the associated Terms & Conditions means you lose any eligibility to access our Services.

11.3. Your utilization of any of our Services, participation through joining or signup, and engagement via an Invite Link in a Live Stream collectively signify your acknowledgment and acceptance of our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.

11.4. The Organisation retains the discretion to extend admission to its Services as it deems fit.

 

 

12. Code of Conduct

 

12. 1. Every user commits to strict adherence to the laws and regulations governing our services, and these Terms & Conditions.

12.2. Users unequivocally agree to abstain from:

 

• Discrimination based on a user’s actual or perceived attributes: age, race, colour, ethnicity, national origin, sexual orientation, religion, gender, family situation, pregnancy, physical appearance, surname, state of health, disability, genetic characteristics, personal beliefs, political opinions, or union activities.

 

• Engaging in any form of illicit activity through our Services.

 

• Posting content or making statements that:

 

1. Infringe, misappropriate, or violate a third party’s patent, copyright, trademark, trade secret, moral rights, or other intellectual property rights, or rights of publicity or privacy.

2. Violate, or encourage conduct that would violate, any applicable law or regulation or give rise to civil liability.

3. Are fraudulent, false, misleading (directly or by omission or failure to update information), or deceptive.

4. Are defamatory, obscene, pornographic, vulgar, or offensive.

5. Promote discrimination, bigotry, racism, hatred, harassment, or harm against any individual or group.

6. Are violent or threatening or promote violence or actions that are threatening to any other person.

7. Promote illegal or harmful activities or substances.

8. Contain a link to any content associated with the above prohibitions.

9. Are otherwise contrary to applicable laws and regulations.

 

12.3. Disseminating any personal information of another user, including contact details, without their explicit consent.

 

12.4. We routinely inspect the use of our Services for safety and fraud prevention. We retain the right to remove any content, whether public or private, created, used, or circulated by users that does not conform to applicable laws, regulations, or these Terms & Conditions.

 

12.5. We reserve the prerogative to exclude or remove any user from our Services at our sole discretion for any reason, including non-compliance with applicable laws or regulations or violation of these Terms & Conditions. Upon such termination or suspension, users will not be entitled to any refund of unused fees for in-app purchases if any.

 

13. Condition of Access

 

13.1. Upon joining our Services, it is imperative that you use a distinct email address.

13.2. Upon completing the signup process, you attain Member status, enabling you to share content through our Services.

13.3. Safeguarding the confidentiality of your login credentials is crucial. Members must keep these details personal and refrain from disclosing them to third parties or fellow Members to prevent fraudulent activities or phishing attempts.

 

13.4. Any violation of these stipulations may result in the termination of a Member’s Membership, without waiving the liability incurred by the said Member due to the unauthorized use of their username and/or password by another Member or third party.

13.5. We retain the authority to deactivate user accounts without prior notice if we suspect non-compliance with our Terms and Conditions.

13.6. User accounts may be subject to removal if, upon review, we find that they have been inactive in utilizing our Services for a continuous period of at least 12 months.

 

14. Donations

 

14.1. All membership will remain free but members are free to donate to support the maintenance of the application and/or the Charity that created the application.

14.2. Donations may only be sent using the approved methods provided by ChristNation.

 

15. Automatic Renewal

 

15.1. Cancellation methods will follow the respective App Store procedures.

15.2. Cancellation and Withdrawal:

1. Cancellation adheres to App Store guidelines.

2. ChristNation may cancel Memberships based on violations.

 

16. Technology Requirements

 

Users may need to download updates, subject to ChristNation’s discretion.

 

17. Terms & Conditions – Updates and Amendments

 

ChristNation may update these Terms, with acceptance through Service use.

 

18. Provision of the Service

 

18.1. ChristNation may modify or cease Services without prior notice.

18.2. Users bear data and connectivity costs.

18.3. Account access may be denied without notice for non-compliance.

 

19. License, Restrictions, and Conditions of Use

 

19.1. Users agree not to access Services through unauthorized means.

19.2. Compliance with laws and restrictions is mandatory.

 

20. Links to Other Websites

 

20.1. Our Service may contain links to external sites, and users access them at their own risk.

20.2. ChristNation disclaims responsibility for Other Sites’ content or services.

 

21. Disclaimer of Warranties

 

21.1. Your acknowledgment and agreement extend to the understanding that your use of the Apps, the Websites, and/or the Services is undertaken at your own exclusive risk.

 

21.2. The provision of the Apps, the Websites, and the Services is based on an “as is” and “as available” foundation, devoid of any warranties or conditions, whether express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

 

21.3. The Organisation explicitly disclaims all warranties and conditions, including but not limited to, those of satisfactory quality, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and those derived from the course of dealing or usage of trade, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

 

21.4. The Organisation does not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any materials, information, or data accessible through, or the performance of, the Apps, the Websites, and/or the Services.

 

22. Indemnification

 

Users indemnify ChristNation against claims arising from Service use.

 

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Related Parties against any and all claims, damages, losses, costs, investigations, liabilities, judgments, fines, penalties, settlements, interest, and expenses (including attorneys’ fees). This includes claims arising from or related to:

 

22.1. Your use of the Services, encompassing your activities, communications, and meetings with

Members you encounter through the Services;

22.2. Any data posted or provided by you on the Services;

22.3. Your breach or alleged breach of this Agreement or additional terms;

22.4. Your violation or alleged violation of any laws, rules, regulations, codes, statutes, ordinances, or orders of any governmental or quasi-governmental authorities in connection with your use of the Services or your related activities;

22.5. Information or material transmitted through your computer or other devices, regardless of submission origin, that infringes, violates, or misappropriates any copyright, trademark, trade secret, trade dress, patent, publicity, privacy, or other right of any person or entity;

22.6. The Related Parties’ utilization of the information you submit to us, including your Material. Collectively, these instances are referred to as “Claims and Losses.”

 

23. Governing Law; Jurisdiction

 

23.1. These Terms & Conditions shall be interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.,

23.2. Except otherwise specified in this Terms and Conditions, you unequivocally submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

 

23.3. You recognize and agree that the Organisation may suffer irreparable harm if the terms of these Terms & Conditions were not specifically enforced. Therefore, you consent to our entitlement, without the need for bond, other security, or proof of damages, to appropriate equitable remedies for breaches of these Terms & Conditions. This is in addition to any other remedies available to us under applicable laws.

 

24. General

 

24.1. These Terms constitute the entire User Terms and Conditions

24.2. An invalid provision in this Terms of Service does not affect the remaining Terms and Conditions.

 

 

25. Force Majeure

 

25.1. ChristNation is not liable for failure due to uncontrollable events.

25.2. Either party may terminate after 14 days of Service inability due to a Force Majeure Event.

Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy pertains to the website https://christnation.org.uk (inclusive of both mobile and online applications) (referred to as the “Site”). It governs the use of interactive features, platforms, plug-ins, applications, content, downloads, and/or other online services controlled by ChristNation and God’s Chamber Global Ministries, its subsidiaries, and affiliates (collectively referred to as “ChristNation,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). This Privacy Policy excludes data received from third parties, except when combined with Personal Information (as defined below) collected under this Privacy Policy. Additionally, it does not cover offline data collection or data practices of third parties interacting with our Service.

If you do not agree to these terms, kindly refrain from providing Personal Information and using this Service.

1. What information does the Service collect?

A. Information You Provide to Us: If you are an Individual User, you may provide Personal Information and Demographic Information (as defined below). If you are an FBO User (Faith-based organization), we may collect Business Information (as defined below). “Personal Information” includes data that personally identifies you, such as your name, phone number, username, password, credit card number, date of birth, home address, and email address. “Business Information” refers to organizational details like legal name, VAT number, tax status, location(s), phone number(s), business contact information, and bank account information. “Demographic Information” includes details like gender, age, religious affiliation, race, and nationality. This information is collected through various forms and places on the Service, including account registration and “contact us” forms.

B. Information Collected and Stored As You Access and Use the Service: Apart from information you submit, we and third-party service providers may use technologies to store or collect certain information automatically whenever you interact with the Service (“Usage Information”). This may include your IP address, Device Identifier, Device functionality, areas visited within the Service, Device location, Device characteristics, and other Device data. We treat Usage Information associated with your Business Information and/or Personal Information as Personal Information.

1. Location-Based Information: Our Service may utilize location-based services to verify your location, deliver relevant content and ads, and share your location with vendors. You can adjust your Device settings to prevent location information sharing. Unless consent is provided, location data is collected anonymously and used to enhance location-based products and services.

2. Information Third Parties Provide About You: We may supplement direct information collected with records from third parties to enhance our ability to serve you. When combined with Personal Information, this will be treated as Personal Information.

3. Interactions with Third-Party Services: The Service may include functionality facilitating interactions with third-party websites or applications. Third-party operators may provide information, including Personal Information. Our Privacy Policy does not cover these third parties’ practices, and their privacy policies should be reviewed before using their tools on our Service.

4. Information You Provide About a Third Party: If you send a communication from the Service to someone else, the provided information is used solely for facilitating the communication and not for additional marketing purposes unless explicit consent is obtained. When using send-to-a-friend functionality, your contact information may be included in the communication sent to the recipient(s). Some of these tools may be subject to third-party privacy policies.

Account Deletion and Your Right to be Forgotten

You have the right to request the deletion of your personal data at any time.

How to Request Data Deletion

You can request your data to be deleted in either of the following ways:

– Delete your account directly from your profile settings (visit My Profile → Account Settings, and confirm you see a Delete Account button.)
– Contact us at admin@christnation.org.uk and request account and data deletion

Where legally required, we will delete your data within 30 days of your request. In some cases, we may need to retain certain information for legal or administrative reasons (for example, to comply with financial, security or lawful record-keeping obligations). If this applies, we will inform you.

What Happens When You Delete Your Account

When you delete your profile on our platform:

– Your account is permanently removed
– Personal information associated with your profile is deleted or anonymised
– Most user-generated content (such as activity posts, profile details, messages, and uploaded media) is removed from the platform where technically possible
– Content that may be needed for legitimate legal, fraud-prevention, or security reasons may be securely retained in accordance with data protection laws

In some community interactions (such as forum discussions or group conversations), your contributions may remain visible, but they will no longer be associated with your identity and will instead display an anonymised name (e.g. “Deleted User”), unless the content itself is removed in line with our data retention policy.

After deletion, you will no longer be able to access your account, recover your data, or restore your contribution history.

Verification

For your security, we may require you to verify your identity before processing any deletion request made by email or through our support channels.
